Note for: Thomas O'Regan, 1837 - JUL 1891
He was a railway track master at Truro, N.S. Canada. Both Thomas and his wife Honora (Nora )Murphy were buried in their plot near Lakelands.

Note for: Daniel O'Regan, 1841 -
Daniel was a volunteer called out with the 6th Cumberland Regiment for service in the Fenian Raids. He was granted a $100 bounty by the federal government i 1912 for the Fenian raids in 1866 and 1870. The bounty cheque went to him or his heirs in Stettler, Alberta. No trace of he or his family was found there.
Records tell us Daniel operated the Cable House Hotel at Main and Foundry St. in Moncton in the 1870's 80's. They had 8 employees not including his own direct family.
An archivist from the Moncton Museum was most helpful in searching the records and sending information that Daniel had bought a larger hotel in Moncton. However he disappeared form the municipal records about 1878.

Note for: Mary Johanna (Mame) O'Regan, 1875 - 1937
Mary (Mame) Johanna had a variety store in Joggins Main St. in the 20's & 30's until in 1937 fire burned out the whole corner in a major fire.

Note for: William James (Will) O'Regan, 1877 - 1947
William (Will) was a bachelor in California. He apprenticed to blacksmith Corey Jenks in Parrsboro and operated his own blacksmith shop in a shed on the farm at Lakelands until moving to Edmonton in partnership with his brother George. They were plastering contractors approximate. 1911 until they moved to California around 1915. Died at 80 years old.

Note for: Thomas A. O'Regan, JUL 1880 - 1960
Thomas was a bachelor who travelled extensively throughout the country as Superintendent of Highways and was active in the political circles. He was the secretary (1953) of the Progressive Conservative Association for Cumberland West.

Note for: Ellen A. (Nell) O'Regan, 1890 - 1946
Ellen (Nell) was a school teacher in Parrsboro in Grade VIII and other grades from about 1910 until shortly before her death. She died the same day her first pension cheque arrived in the mail.

Stephen was a Ford Motor Company sale man at Parrsboro Motor's in the 1920's and became owner of the firm and Ford-General Motors sale man dealer until the early 1940's when he dropped the Ford franchise.

Note for: John Daniel James (Jack) O'Regan, 22 APR 1882 - 2 APR 1945
John was known as Jack. In the early 1900's he was a prise fighter. His Funeral was at St. Anthony church and was burial at Cote des Neiges cemetery.

Note for: James O'Regan, 11 DEC 1852 - 18 APR 1938
James came to Ottawa in 1888. He was a clerk in the Exchequer Court of Canada. In November 1892 he was appointed assistant librarian in the Supreme Court of Canada, the 7th highest paid position in the department at $1600 per annum. He retired with 44 years of service. The library is now the Parliamentary parking lot at the N.E. corner of Bank and Wellington St. In 1939 his widow Ada received a ministerial invite to attend the official opening of the Supreme Court building. She declined on the grounds she never forgive the government for razing the original library.
