James O'Regan is an international
author of more than 130 articles related to liturgy and
culture, both in popular and academic journals. He offers
workshops in proclamation and symbol-handling, and holds
a pontifical license in theology from St. Paul
University, Ottawa, Canada, where he lives with his wife
and two young children. He is involved in his parish
liturgy. His article, "The Grammar of Symbol,"
was reprinted in The Lent Book, Resource Publications
(1999). He is co-moderator of an Internet-based
ecumenical Liturgy Discussion Group at Yahoo!Groups. For this book, he draws on his extensive
experience as actor and producer. He has appeared in over 70 movies and television shows, and is a member of the Association of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists (ACTRA), the Writer's Guild of Canada and Canadian Actors Equity.
